Purpose of the position Hiab Cranes is looking for a Materials Planner to ensure the appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials required to maintain steady production and product delivery.
Provide technical and daily activities and understand the demand to develop material management activities, such as logistics or warehousing.
What you'll need to succeed Education: Degree Level or Equivalent, with relevant engineering and/or industrial experience English requirement: Fluent Experience: Global industrial experience (truck, construction machines, mining, agriculture, or automotive) At least 2 years of relevant work experience in logistics/sourcing roles in an international and multi-site company Experience in working with large suppliers with a global multi-site footprint and managing supplier relations and negotiations Project management, cross-functional improvement teams and supplier development programs Experience in using ERP systems Experience in complex steel assemblies / hydraulic systems / electrical & electronics preferred Competencies: Solve daily basic technical issues and improve own working methods Communication Excellent knowledge in sourcing methods; supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, analytical skills and legal/contractual knowledge Continuous improvement mindset with a business-driven and fact-based approach towards suppliers with a focus on building long-term relationships You will be part of We offer you a position in a global organization where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
