Marketing Specialist - Cold Logistics

Position
Americold is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist with a strong background in Cold Logistics. This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies, creating compelling content, and supporting various marketing initiatives to enhance our brand presence and drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing
Create customer-oriented, innovative, and industry-leading content for responses to customer requests, social media, and other company activities.
Develop pitches, descriptions, presentations, and articles across various print and digital formats, adjusting language and theme as appropriate.
Maintain Americold's brand standards throughout all created materials.
Manage content library information to ensure accuracy with regular feedback/refresher activities with subject matter experts.
Develop and maintain marketing presentation materials to ensure brand aesthetics, quality, and integrity of material content.
Market and Industry Research
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the cold logistics industry.
Analyze industry data and research to develop new prospect opportunities in the food and beverage sector.
Digital Marketing
Develop and manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
Track and report on digital marketing metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI.
Collaboration
Partner with APAC and US marketing teams to deploy global initiatives regionally.
Collaborate with other departments on various marketing projects as required.
Internal Communications
Align internal communications with all global regions, ensuring consistency and relevance across diverse cultural contexts.
Boost employee engagement with targeted communication campaigns, fostering belonging and purpose.
Develop strategic messages and plans to support D&I initiatives, promoting equity and belonging.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
Strong command of Microsoft Office software, specifically PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the internet and social media as marketing tools.
Strong research and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the Supply Chain, Warehousing, Distribution, Transportation, or Operations industries is a plus.
