Our client, a multinational beauty industry, seeks to fulfill the position of Luxury Skincare Marketing Director.
THE ROLESkincare is one of the strategic priorities of the company. The Director of Skincare will be accountable for the full-channel performance and P&L of the skincare business within IBERIA.
This role will be responsible for all skincare brands. You will be responsible for the skincare category strategy and value proposition. You will lead the cross-functional skincare team to develop and deliver a compelling strategic vision and winning commercial and marketing plans.
This strategic role will report to the IBERIA MD and will also work closely with Sales Directors to ensure successful expansion of skincare within IBERIA. There will be a close working relationship with the global skincare EVP and the global skincare teams. You should be able to navigate company hierarchy with ease. It is a high exposure role, that will naturally be very demanding and require you to juggle competing priorities.
Given the high profile of the role, you will be required to network with senior members and behave in a professional manner, ensuring your conduct is exemplary on all occasions. It is expected you are a natural business leader, driving business change and tangible improvements through visionary leadership and cross-functional people development.
MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIESComplete responsibility for the success of the skincare category within IBERIA, including day-to-day P&L performance and product management. You must be extremely comfortable with the mechanics of the P&L – building it, reporting on it, and communicating it. Lead the brand management for all skincare brands, representing skincare brands in the market and identifying growth opportunities.
Work in unison with local and global teams to prioritize and deliver revenue growth and margin expansion. Drive the full Product lifecycle management (product pipeline & roadmap, new product line additions and launches, current product line rationalization); input insights of local consumers, customers, and competitors to adapt the global license guidelines & policy, while also advocating local initiatives. Provide timely and insightful business analysis and reports to adapt strategy and action plans.
Ability to build strong teams and support them to deliver results.
REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School degree.
Experience: Experience in a similar role in the luxury skincare category.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.
Location: Barcelona.
