Marketing Manager for a B2B SaaS Startup We're looking for a marketing manager for Plytix, a global market leading PIM software company based in Malaga.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and experience with B2B SaaS companies with a strong foundation in all areas of marketing (from SEO and video to paid ads, marketing automation, and more).
The majority of our marketing team is located in Spain, so it would be nice if you were too.
That way you can meet up with the team in person from time to time in our Malaga office.

As our Marketing Manager, this is to manage and coordinate a marketing team of 8-10 very talented and accomplished marketing experts.
At Plytix we don't engage in outbound activities, so our growth depends entirely on our ability to drive leads from our marketing efforts.

You'll be joining Plytix at around 100 employees and apart from offering a competitive salary, Plytix has been voted the Best place to work in Spain in 2023.
What will you be doing?
Leading the marketing department to accelerate our company's growth.
Implement and oversee a powerful marketing strategy across all marketing functions.
Handling different projects and allocating resources based on priorities and business goals.
Coaching and mentoring your direct reportees and help them reach their full potential.
Hiring and training new talent for the marketing team.
Overseeing all marketing campaigns and projects.
Liaising with the CEO on setting the marketing strategy, goals and budgets.
Liaising with Sales, Customer Success, and other relevant departments in order to accelerate growth.
Create reports and dashboards for the CEO.
After 1 month: You will be trained in PIM basics and have gained a working knowledge of the capabilities of our software.
You will also have spent a large portion of your time engaging with our customer success team and observing client interactions.
This will be important for your journey at Plytix so that you know the ins and outs of our product to better position it in your strategies.
You'll have met your team, but will not yet have assumed responsibility for your team yet.
You'll also have met other important stakeholders from other departments to get more familiar with what they do and how you can work together.
You'll have had regular check-ins with the CEO to stay on top of how things are progressing.
You'll also have to read the handover report and be fully briefed on the entire marketing history of Plytix so that you're ready to start up your own strategies for the team.
After 3 months: You're now effectively managing the marketing department, and you have taken ownership of Asana, our project management tool.
Your focus will be on coordinating projects and resources based on priorities set by yourself together with the CEO.
You'll know the ins-and outs of all the processes and software we use in marketing and have taken complete ownership and accountability of reporting and the performance of the department.
6 months in: At this stage, you'll be expected to show how our marketing performance has improved since you've taken over.
You're now working closely with the CEO on how to expand and improve on the marketing strategy in order to grow our lead flow.
In other words, after 6 months, you're going to be a fully functional and high-performing Marketing Manager.
Who will you be working with?
You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other department leaders to make important business decisions and develop impactful strategies.
Of course, you will also work closely with our marketing team as you will be their manager.
Minimum Requirements: Fluent level of English.
5+ years of digital marketing experience at a B2B SaaS scaleup.
Great management skills.
Great mentor and coach.
Work well under pressure.
Prior in-depth experience with analytics and attribution modeling software.
In-depth experience with all functions within performance marketing.
Strong in data analysis and problem-solving.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Motivated self-starter with a passion for marketing.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong team player with a warm, friendly personality.
Curious mind and always stay on top of current trends in digital marketing.
