Marketing Manager

The Innovation Forum is an international non-profit network of scientist entrepreneurs looking to drive forward science innovation and enterpreneurship. With branches across the UK, Spain, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, we have a diverse range of PhDs, postdocs, and early career professionals who are all passionate about scientific innovation.
The role We're looking for an applicant with a keen interest in design, digital marketing, and social media management to join the organisation as Marketing Manager.
This role is the perfect opportunity for those wishing to gain practical industry experience and take full ownership of a marketing strategy for an organisation working in the high-growth sector of healthcare technology.
You will be required to derive a marketing strategy alongside the CEO of the organisation, and implement this strategy through:
Design of marketing material using software such as Figma and CanvaManagement of social media channels (Twitter and LinkedIn)Newsletter curationKey responsibilities:  Produce engaging marketing material to promote Innovation Forum activities and events, using (but not limited to) Figma and Canva.Derive and execute a social media strategy designed to increase online engagement and raise the organisation's profile.Collate content from Innovation Forum branches and curate into engaging content in the form of a newsletter, using the software Mailchimp.The ideal candidate An undergraduate/Masters student studying business/design/marketing.Passionate about the role of design in establishing a company's brand.Experience with design software such as Figma and Canva.Past experience running social media channels with a large following.Interest in the development and maintenance of a company's YouTube channel.This role pays an hourly wage, plus opportunity for commission based on delivery of successful projects. The Innovation Forum seeks to promote innovation by building bridges between academia, industry.
