About the role The Diageo Southern Europe Finance team (which supports Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece) is central to the delivery of key business objectives and targets across the P&L, Balance Sheet and broader market share. The team is made up of respected business partners to their collaborators inside and outside of the function and work to shape the future of our business.
The role of A&P Finance Business Partner will drive excellent decision making across the Consumer and Customer Marketing Teams and support the business in setting and realising its performance ambition and AOP with a particular focus on the Dynamic value creator area of the Finance Mission:

This role will partner the SE Marketing and SE Customer Marketing teams to ensure we have a clear understanding of drivers of spend to enable this investment to be optimized and deployed with agility. Part of the role will also be to drive optimization of the A&P process and continuous improvement.
Top Accountabilities Functional:
Provide decision support to the customer and consumer marketing teams, which will ultimately improve, return on investment, Net Sales Value, Gross Profit, Gross Margin %, CAAP and CAAP Margin%.Partner with marketing & customer marketing teams on their A&P budget, seeking out greatest opportunities for growthPartner with SE Finance team (Commercial Finance, Finance Controls, BPM team, etc..) to bring together the Brand/category/Portfolio perspective with the Country/Channel perspective and assessing the right prioritization and optimization choices.Guarantee quality A&P budget management, giving confidence to the wider SE business on A&P accuracy and correct spending in line with strategyPartner with marketing teams to implement high quality measurement and evaluation of our marketing activitiesIdentify and implement A&P process improvements on A&P/finance projectsUse insightful analysis to identify business opportunitiesPresent analysis to the teams and then subsequently empower the team around delivering against themSupport the strategic planning and forecasting processesEnsure the appropriate governance and controls are in place for all investment and best in class process, data and tools are available to support decision makingAbout you Leadership Standards Win through Execution
