Marketing Coordinator and Events Manager - GTARole Description Reporting to the Head of Marketing, The Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role as a part of the Marketing team for Georgian Bay Beverage Co.. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, a creative mindset, and strong organizational abilities as well as coordinating and assisting in executing a wide range of events for the organization. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging, effective communication, and successful event execution. This position involves a combination of creative, analytical, and organizational skills to support the marketing department's initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about beverage alcohol industry, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Campaign Development and Execution:Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.Coordinate promotional activities, events, and sponsorships.Develop content for marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts.Event Coordination:Organize and manage events, including product launches, tastings, festivals, and trade shows.Coordinate logistics, from venue selection to promotional materials and post-event analysis.Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the beverage alcohol industry.Analyze competitors' activities and provide insights for strategy development.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.Brand Management:Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.Support the development and maintenance of brand guidelines.Assist in managing the company's online presence, including website updates and social media engagement.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and partners to coordinate marketing efforts.Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the beverage or consumer goods industry.Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and project management abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Passion for the liquor industry and knowledge of current market trends.Compensation
