Job Description
- Write and disseminate press kits, pitches, publisher notices, calendar listings.
- Advise on marketing and advertising copy and provide editing for brand consistency.
- Develops design and artwork in accordance with corporate standards for advertising and hotel collateral.
- Oversees layout and design of ads, collateral and any other projects.
- Proposes new and creative ideas/concepts to improve overall brand standards.
- Studies and prepares layouts, proposed artwork sketches and related materials.
- Determines the most appropriate style, techniques and medium to produce desired effects and meet reproduction requirements, or receives specific instructions on these variables.
- Formulates concepts and presents illustrations and details from models, sketches, memory - Analyzes illustration at various stages of completion and makes changes as necessary.
- Selects type, draws lettering, designs materials, or performs related tasks.
- Build positive relationships with local media and industry partners in key markets.
- Develop and maintain all media lists and contact information.
-Maintain an up-to-date photo and video library, including a photographic record of all media and special events.
- Extend the brand's reach with marketing partnerships and non-traditional media.
-Develop proactive marketing and communication plans (monthly and annual) aimed at achieving results and building awareness, thereby maximizing the power of the brand worldwide.
- Develop sponsorship opportunities, partnerships that enhance and support brand development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in related position.
- Degree in Marketing/Communication or related field.
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO / SEM, database marketing, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and creating digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
- Experience with video and image editing software.
- Technical knowledge of how web-based technologies are applied to web design, such as HTML, Flash, CSS and AJAX.
- Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver and Flash), MS Office, Coral Draw, Acrobat knowledge.
- Knowledge of printing processes and specifications for both digital and print media.
- Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- High level of Spanish and English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
