This is what you will do:You will be a strong contributor to the Marketing Automation Team and will perform activities such as developing email journeys and one-time sends utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Along with Marketing Cloud, you will work with technologies such as Personalization Studio and Orchestration Engine, which is currently being deployed in Alexion. You will have regular interaction with global teams throughout Alexion and are expected to have very strong communication skills in English.The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing, implementing, and/or managing the operations of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, especially with implementing multiple journeys. In alignment with the strategic business goals, this individual will enable future growth of the company by helping to implement and institute delivery capabilities in support of the Marketing and Commercial business globally. You will be responsible for technical delivery of projects and ongoing operations, driving process and technology globally.The individual must be a strong collaborator, who will work to become a trusted partner to business and IT colleagues by providing critical thinking with tactical execution. The position will work with business partners, project managers, and technical organizations as a primary point of contact to align internal client needs, requirements, and expectations with technical delivery of the solutions.You will be responsible for:Assist with the implementation and support of a comprehensive marketing technology architecture that supports Alexion's omnichannel marketing strategy.Participate in the technical operations (development and support) for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Personalization/Interaction Studio.Enable digital corporate, marketing, and commercial technical capabilities and applications across Alexion teams globally (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Brandwatch, SpotMe, Sprinklr, etc).Vendor Management – work with near-shore and off-shore teams to deliver capabilities and implement campaigns in SFMC using agile methods as necessary.Provide thought leadership on emerging trends and technologies in marketing technology.Utilize Service Now and JIRA boards to track ticket progress.Ability to build metrics reports from Salesforce to provide to business partners.Experience testing and validating peer work.Continuously monitor and optimize email marketing performance through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization to drive engagement and conversion.Contribute to the development and maintenance of a scalable and efficient marketing automation infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and platforms.You will need to have:Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.2+ years of hands-on development experience with IT/marketing tools.Proven track record with Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations.
