Position: Marketing Assistant for SpainYou will report directly to the Marketing Executive for Iberia and work very closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the wider marketing team.
You will be assisting the marketing team to achieve their commercial objectives of driving high quality leads and conversions to maximize occupancy for Nido's portfolio of residences in Spain.
We are looking for a creative individual who understands customers, has an eye for detail, loves to write copy, and can identify and coordinate a range of tactical marketing activity to fulfill marketing plans, showing initiative and enthusiasm whilst doing so.
This role is pivotal to the success of our business in Spain and includes marketing across mobilizing and operating buildings in Madrid, Valencia and Seville.
You will work with the Nido head office team and the local team in each city to implement marketing activity, reach occupancy targets, and support resident engagement and the Nido events programme.
Experience:Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualificationFluent in English and SpanishExcels when working in a very fast-paced, collaborative environmentExcellent time management and organizationProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite desirableKnowledge of CMS, CRM and Google Analytics desirable but can be trainedExcellent communication skills both verbal and written, and the ability to present ideas and creative in all languagesA strong work ethic and a commitment to get the job doneThe ability to challenge and debate issues that are important to the organisationThe ability to look at situations from several points of viewPersuasive with details and factsComfortable working with a diverse group of peopleSales and marketing experience, preferably within the Student Accommodation, property or hospitality sectorExperience of managing contractor, supplier or agency relationships and negotiating termsSelf-starter, independent, work using own initiative and able to learn new tools quicklyExceptional attention to detailWilling to travelA strong understanding of customer and market dynamicsKey Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):Assisting Marketing Executive with day-to-day marketing tasks, coordinating marketing projects and activities as requestedScoping and implementing in-house and external marketing campaigns alongside the Marketing ExecutiveSourcing new advertising and marketing opportunities on the groundSupport the residence teams with their day-to-day marketing needs, including event preparation, managing collateral, and helping with social mediaAssist with writing copy and translating Spanish marketing content across channels including listings, SEO, PPC and social ad campaignsWork with the Marketing Executive on local brand opportunities - including brand partnershipsManagement of promotional and print suppliers, implementing quality control to ensure the standard of branded materialWorking with the Marketing Executive to coordinate the production of show suite photo shoots and video elements in Spain, including the styling of show flats and contracting of a local photographerAssist the Marketing Executive and Senior Marketing Manager with conducting market research to identify market requirements for current and future products, to include:Monitoring and analysing market trendsStudying competitors' products and servicesAnalysing customer behaviourTo assist with events management to include the planning and coordination of marketing requirements for:Housing fairs nationallyResidence open days nationallyNew launch opening functions (where required)Attendance at the above events throughout the year is a requirement of the role and therefore extensive travel may be required.
