As a Marketing and Operations Specialist, you will play a leading role in executing the growth and expansion of Groupon's merchant lifecycle and use case merchandising programs. This role will be responsible for helping deliver products and services that drive value for the merchant. You will execute marketing campaigns across all traffic channels - especially in email, desktop, mobile, and social media. You will be a crucial part of ensuring we are communicating effectively with our merchants and providing them with a seamless Groupon experience.
You'll spend time on the following:
Plan, implement, track, and measure end-to-end email marketing campaigns.Responsible for day-to-day technical execution within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email campaign development and testing, data management, and segmentation.Update all campaign and calendar trackers, ensuring they are always up to date and have all the information required.Update weekly and monthly campaign insights using Salesforce and Tableau.Work with an in-house design team to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines.Review final content by assessing rendering and settings across email, mobile, and web.Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery that satisfies Groupon SLAs.Support and execute various testing initiatives within the email channel.Execute both proactive and reactive tasks based on evolving merchants' needs and compliance.Monitor the latest digital marketing trends and drive new ideas for best practices.The ability to think critically and provide insight and think ahead to identify issues. Relevant 2+ years of experience in a B2B e-commerce role.Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential (working with third-party solutions and across digital channels) – A marketing automation certificate is a plus.Experience working with CRM or data-management systems or data-focused tools, such as SQL, is preferred.Proficient technical skills in MS Office, Google Docs, HTML.You have a start-up mentality and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you can work on various projects.
