Region Southern Europe, MEA and LATAM (SEMELA) is therefore seeking the Market Manager for Portugal. The Market Segment Lead - Electricity Market reports to the Market Area Manager Iberia. In this role you have a strong market and customer focus, you will drive sales and manage customer relations to a group of customers in a defined market. This role gives customers a voice within the organization, challenges the internal organization on customer centricity and provides input for customer/market policy and strategy. You own our market positioning and manage external relations in collaboration with Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs. You will contribute to building the (people) sales competencies and strive for a high performing and collaborative culture.Main tasks:Driving sales, by actively managing sales pipeline growth and increasing order intake for Power Price Forecasting and Power Grids, with strong influence on project pricing, resourcing, bid quality review across Business Areas.Optimizing the customer experience measured in the CSRI score.Monitoring and managing the sales funnel from sales qualified leads to won opportunities.Seeking deep customer insights (e.g. on strategic direction) including prospecting for new customers, market insights and (services of) competitors, and maintaining an overview of major market trends, including analysis of political developments.Developing a market area/customer segment strategy for Spain (and Portugal in future) or customer segment and focus on business development in the market area including cross- and up-selling activities across Business Areas, Business Units and services.Fostering a relevant internal and external network; identifying, building and strengthening relevant customer relationships.
