Job Summary: The Power Market Analyst/Sr Analyst will support Repsol's short-term portfolio for ERCOT and future ISOs/RTOs markets, load forecasts, protocols for daily position reporting and management.
Supports the hedging and optimization of Repsol's portfolio in ERCOT and other ISOs/RTOs.
Responsibilities: Supports the analysis of the ERCOT wholesale market, as well as other ISOs/RTOs.
Supports the energy sale strategy in the ERCOT wholesale market for both the Day-Ahead Market and the Real-Time Market.
Supports the scheduling and dispatching of the assets in operation in ERCOT, as well as other ISOs/RTOs at which Repsol may have assets in operation in the future.
Constantly develops the skill and knowledge of ERCOT procedures and business functions related to the CRR program and other ERCOT operations.
With guidance from senior team members and/or management, executes the acquisition of CRRs thru auctions and trades.
Generates and maintains market reports per requests and internal processes.
