A Day in the Life The Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) Operating Unit is dedicated to the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous diseases. We offer our physician customers a comprehensive suite of products and therapies to treat varying degrees of peripheral vascular disease — disorders of the circulatory system outside the brain and heart. As a Market Development Specialist for the PVH Iberia team, you will be responsible to support, develop and execute Medtronic Endovenous (Venous & Embolization) value proposition for the Spain Region. You will plan the communication strategy, from developing insights to designing the end-to-end customers experience with different payers' segments in Spain. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including outcomes research, clinical, medical, and marketing to support market development and brand preference. The working territory will be Madrid and the Center of Spain, and you will be expected to be located in Madrid.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Establish deep expertise on the target Endovenous stakeholders segments to ensure that this expertise gets integrated purposefully into the market development strategy.Develop & maintain robust relationships with clinical and economical stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of targeted products & therapies at the accounts and/or territory level.Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.Look for opportunities to continuously optimize engagement customer experiences, establishing metrics that can help measure the engagement of the customer segment where possible.Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.Provide internal and external training on key market access topics in line with the communication strategy for the different segments and customers.Identify, develop and implement near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the expansion of Medtronic therapies on the account or territory level.Required Knowledge and Experience: Postgraduate or Master's degree in Economics, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Health Economics or another relevant degree.At least 5 years of experience on a similar position in a healthcare environment on a medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or in a specialized consulting company.Track record of developing and delivering marketing and communication strategy for payers.Experience with strategic marketing value story development and customers segmentation.Good understanding of health economics principles.Fluency in English and Spanish, Computer literacy and Sales Force competencies.Experience in Vascular Surgery and/or Interventional Radiologist, knowledge of health care systems and different customers across Spain, and excellent oral and written communications.
