DescriptionPeriod of employment: 3 monthsMain FunctionSecurity of the vessel, cargo, crew, and visitors.QualificationsBasic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)Skills and ability to recognise, understand and deal with potential security threatsFully qualified with a proven record of competence for the positionAn above-average level of fitness and skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem solvingGood English language skills, both written and oralFamiliarity with Security Standard Procedures (SSP) and other Standard Procedures that impact securityMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain security of the ship and the implementation of the SSP and Standard Procedures.Responsible for gangway security & access control.Inspect and patrol premises regularly.Undertake security patrols of Restricted, Controlled, and Vulnerable areas.Have a well-developed understanding of the operation and management of CCTV recording and monitoring equipment.Monitor surveillance cameras.Compile statements and reports.Report all crimes, incidents, and safeguarding matters.Maritime Experience - Advantage.Job Type: Full-timePay: 2,850.00€ - 3,700.00€ per monthExperience:Military/police/army/airport security/customs: 1 year (Required)Language:English (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
