We have built a unique membrane factory in the world, where we manufacture our units that provide a solution to the problem of hydrogen transport.
For our development, we rely on the local industrial ecosystem and first-rate international investors. We have developed a membrane reactor technology for on-site hydrogen separation and production from different feedstocks, such as ammonia, methanol, formic acid, synthesis gas from waste.
What are we looking for:
H2Site is seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in the maritime segment. This role focuses on promoting and selling on-board systems designed for cracking ammonia into hydrogen. The hydrogen generated will be used downstream in a fuel cell or an internal combustion engine (ICE) to propel maritime vessels.
Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales of H2Site's on-board systems for the maritime sector.
Identify and target potential customers in the maritime industry, focusing on those pursuing low carbon propulsion alternatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, industry partners, and internal teams.
Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to expand H2Site's market presence.
Represent H2Site at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our technology and capabilities.
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Director to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
Regularly travel across Europe to meet with clients and partners, with occasional visits to our headquarters in Bilbao, Spain.
What will you need to succeed:
A technical background, ideally with a degree in engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in selling equipment within the maritime sector.
At least a basic understanding of the marine fuels and alternative fuels market and drivers.
Understanding of the relationship between ship owners, shipyards, design institutes, and regulatory bodies.
Proven track record in selling components for propulsion systems is highly desirable.
Strong experience in developing and negotiating partnership agreements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple projects and priorities.
Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and occasionally to the headquarters in Bilbao.
