The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industry requirements and certification processes related to marine applications.FUNCTIONS:Analyze and redesign hydrogen production systems for compliance with maritime standards and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (process, mechanical, electrical, safety) to integrate marine-specific requirements into system designs during all stages of design.Take part in or conduct risk assessments along with other design functions and ensure that designs meet safety and environmental regulations.Stay updated on industry standards, certification processes, and best practices for marine applications.Develop technical documentation, including design specifications and compliance reports.Assist in the testing and validation of modified systems in maritime environments.Provide support during the installation and commissioning of systems on maritime vessels.Train and support staff on maritime compliance and operational procedures.Lead type approval processes with certification bodies.WHAT YOU´LL NEED TO SUCCEEDProfessional training:Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Desirable education: Additional certifications related to maritime standards or hydrogen production technology.Certifications related to safety.Professional Experience:Extensive knowledge of maritime industry standards, regulations, and certification processes.Proven experience in designing systems for marine applications, preferably in hydrogen production or related fields.Experience working with certification bodies.Internal External RelationsInternal interactions with the rest of engineering and operations team.External interactions with the engineering and operations team of the client and suppliers; as well as other stakeholders, including shipowners, shipyards and certifying bodiesOther informationCompetencies: accountability, building partnerships, building trust, communication skills, embraces change, interpersonal skills, managing conflict, strategic thinking, teamwork and collaboration.Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting.Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools is a plus.WHAT WE OFFERParticipate in an impactful RD project: Join a pioneering initiative dedicated to combating climate change and making a real difference in the world through hydrogen.Culture of innovation: Work in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation, where your ideas and solutions are valued and implemented.Collaborative and supportive team: Be part of a diverse, talented and welcoming team that values your contribution and encourages growth.Flexibility and autonomy: Enjoy a flexible work schedule (intensive workday in summer) with the option to telecommute, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.Opportunities for professional growth and development: Access to continuous training programs, workshops and resources for professional development, ensuring your constant growth.Enjoy 26 vacation days per year.Coverflex Card: Includes allowances for meal tickets, transportation and more, giving you the flexibility to manage your daily expenses.Access to language learning: Get free access to a platform designed to help you improve and master new languages at your own pace.Location: Loiu.If you consider that you match the criteria for the vacancy do not hesitate to apply for the offer with your CV!
