A vacancy for a MAP Structure and Cargo Hold System Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla. The successful applicant will join Engineering Department. The job holder will be part of MAP Structure & Cargo - TEPAP-TL1, within Cargo Hold team Installation team. MAP Structure & Cargo is composed of a multidisciplinary, cross-functional and international team of highly skilled and motivated engineers. Its mission is developed at the intersection of the Program, Industrial and Engineering domains, acting as a principal actor during the FAL Build Process, Ground Testing, Flight Testing and Delivery Process. In this position, you will have a unique opportunity to be as close as possible to the physical Aircraft and deeply involved through the complete Aircraft´s design, build, test process, Aircraft operations, and Delivery to the Customers. This role requires the ability to adapt to the MAP environment and to develop strong links with all Engineering, DTO, FAL, Flight Tests, Flight Line, Flight Crews, Quality, Delivery, and Production teams. **Within Cargo Hold team of MAP Structure & Cargo organization, the job holder will**: Provide Troubleshooting guidance for Cargo Hold System (i.e. LoadMaster Control System interface with the Aircraft System, X-Locks, Door Ramp Actuation System-DCMS) helping to resolve issues related to the Aerial Delivery function of the Aircraft. Ensure that the technical solution/disposition provided by MAP S&C; is in line with Design Office requirements. Ensure Airbus DS and MAP S&C; processes are followed. Working in Multi-Functional Teams. Responsible to answer to all tasks opened on Cargo Hold perimeter from sections deliveries to FAL Sevilla up to Transfer of Title. (i.e. HNC, DQN, Concession, SI.). Provide answer On-Time, On-Cost, On-Quality. Support Design Office in defining/reviewing Ground Test Requirement content. Post Flight Report Analysis. Support answer to Engineering Technical Log Book and Customer Queries. Support activities of Airworthiness/CQC department linked to new cargo capabilities, MOD approval, certification. **Requested skills**: Knowledge of CS25 requirements. Good knowledge of change - and configuration management. At least, 3-year experience in Systems Engineering in any of the A/C systems. Experience in Cargo Hold Installation and System interface is mandatory. Experience in Structural activities is greatly appreciated. Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and milestones. Knowledge of nshow, ALBA is a plus. Knowledge of DQN, Concession, and Special Instruction process. Good communications skills. CATIA V5 a plus. Language Skills: advanced level of English, Advanced level of Spanish, understanding of German would be a plus. Previous work experience in MAP or is highly appreciated. DTL status in some ATA related to Cargo-Hold Technical Discipline is a plus but not mandatory. Technical Development will be made on-the-job according to DP-000-107.
