A leading entity in the paints and coatings industry, renowned for its innovative products and commitment to sustainability, is seeking a Manufacturing & Supply Project Manager to join their team, based in Barcelona. This position plays a crucial role in managing the Make/Supply Planning transformation program within the Business Unit for Europe, driving the transition from current to newly designed planning processes, and developing regional planning team capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead the transformation and continuous assessment of the supply chain to identify business improvement opportunities, including end-to-end value stream mapping.
Analyze and define business improvements and projects to optimize supply chain performance in terms of On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Cost to Serve, and Working Capital across the EMEA Region.
Develop customer service offers and translate them into replenishment models, optimizing the usage of the distribution network and enhancing interactions between customer service and planning, including e-commerce strategies and logistics optimization.
Support the delivery of regional supply chain KPIs and ensure collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
Manage project scopes and timelines to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
University degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the FMCG, Paint/Coating, or Retail industries, particularly in Supply Chain Improvement or Consulting.
A strong consulting background with extensive experience in Manufacturing Supply Planning, Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, and planning tools, including proficiency in SAP ECC and BI.
Demonstrated ability in change management and stakeholder engagement, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Resilient and adaptable with a problem-solving attitude and project management expertise.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
