Manufacturing Section Manager is needed to join the Production area of Diagnostic Instruments at Grifols SA, an industrial company that researches, develops, and manufactures high-tech products for clinical diagnosis. What your responsibilities will be: Develop the team and the processes in a continuous improvement culture. Coordinate the production planning and assure the execution. Lead process improvement projects through implementation, including training on new processes and measurement systems. Evaluate existing equipment and processes to implement improvements in both process performance and overall production ergonomics/safety. Develop action plans to achieve short- and long-term efficiency goals, select new production methods, design production fixtures, and methods to monitor efficiency. Follow up KPIs to maintain and improve performance. Create and review production documents: manufacturing guides, technology transfer reports, bill of materials, process descriptions, project reports. Lead technical support for risk assessments, gap analyses, deviations, change controls, and CAPAs, including determining process impact, root cause analysis, and identifying corrective actions. Determine causes and establish solutions for corrective actions and follow up to ensure completion. Cooperate with MSS/DI, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, ME, Maintenance, and other departments to effectively transfer and maintain processes at the facilities. Support initiatives in other plants within the division. Support the transfer of process technology to manufacturing for processes developed both internally and externally. Classify and direct RCA analyses for equipment downtime and process failures. Use lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead time reduction, inventory reduction, and quality improvement through defect reduction. Optimize the design of the production area and material flow. Who you are: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You have a degree in Engineering, preferably specialized in Industrial Organization or in Industrial or Chemical Engineering. You have at least 3 years of experience performing similar tasks within a production environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector. You have a high level of English, especially in writing and comprehension. You possess good knowledge of Office (especially Word and Excel) and SAP or a similar ERP system. You are a communicative person, with a strong orientation towards teamwork and leadership skills. You take on your tasks with responsibility and autonomy.
