External Quality Control Specialist At Coty, we are recruiting an External Quality Control Specialist for a dynamically growing team, with a current location in Granollers, however the position is moving to Barcelona city.
RESPONSIBILITIES As our ExO QC Specialist , you are responsible for ensuring that Coty products manufactured at Vendors meet Coty Specifications, Quality Protocols, Methodology, and requirements.
Your main focus: Perform Quality Control (QC) inspection to ensure compliance with product specifications and prevent poor quality products from ending up on the markets.
Take final usage decision in SAP accordingly.
Block finish product in SAP when it is not compliant and escalate when an issue is detected.
Prioritize workload according to production, planning, and shipping needs.
SUQ monitoring.
Involvement in the initiatives process by connecting with Site Initiative Leaders.
Manage standards and defect range boards.
Ensure the necessary tools are available at the time of the inspection.
Escalate in case of any constraint that would impact the release lead time.
Quality Master Data set-up in SAP and Inspection Plan set-up based on the needs.
Inform TPMs in case of a non-conformity to start root cause investigation and action plan.
Liaise with QA Specialists.
Collect, timely populate and analyze performance indicators and follow up with QA Specialists and Vendors when needed.
Propose TPMs to be certified.
Support Quality Team and Quality projects when needed.
This role will require 20% travel.

Other than that, you: A successful technical Higher Level Education Cycle (FP2).
Minimum 2 years of experience and basic knowledge of Quality Control.
Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and defect range boards.
Able to use standard measuring equipment.
Background in the Cosmetic Industry is desired.
Communicates in a constructive and consistent manner internally and externally.
Fluent written English skills are a must.
Strong sense of individual accountability.
Works independently, requiring little supervisory direction.
Team player, committed to delivering results.
Able to handle large volumes of work and change priorities as needed.
SAP knowledge.
Good IT knowledge of MS Office applications.
