The senior engineer (preferably in Chemical Engineering) will be involved in the project to ensure the overall coordination of the Manufacturing Excellence approach within the local site, contributing to different local production units' ability to reach their own OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and Reliability performance indicators targets, as well as Energy and Raw Materials efficiency.

The senior engineer will work at the site located in the Barcelona metropolitan area, focusing on PVC production.The senior engineer will be integrated into the local Management team and into the Central Manufacturing Excellence Team.
Main tasks will include:Identify opportunities to improve business processes.Develop a continuous improvement culture, mindset, and behaviors across the site.Define, deploy, and implement Manufacturing Excellence projects and tools, and track results.Ensure communication, reporting, and sharing of experiences across the site.Ensure communication, reporting, and sharing of experiences with the Central Manufacturing Excellence Team.Maintain updated knowledge and training in the Manufacturing Excellence methodologies and tools applied by the groups.Support the quality technician in actions regarding the Integrated Management System.The senior engineer needs operational experience, strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, influence, coach, and develop a team, a strong operations presence in the field, and must be available and accessible in support of the site.
The role requires interaction with global and multicultural internal stakeholders, necessitating a competent level of English language knowledge and travel availability.Desired Skills and Knowledge:Engineering education, preferably Chemical Engineering studies.Minimum 7 years of operational experience in the chemical industry.Proven expertise in Manufacturing Excellence.Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.Experience and knowledge in Integrated Management Systems and ISO Standards.Strong leadership skills.Enthusiastic with field presence and fieldwork.Competent level of English language.Remuneration will be based on the degree of fulfillment of the requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
