Over de functie
Als Manufacturing Engineer ben jij de schakel tussen de development afdeling en de productieomgeving. Je vertaalt de kennis vanaf de productievloer terug naar de development afdeling. Hierdoor ben je nauw betrokken bij het ontwerpen van nieuwe producten en geef je feedback over wat haalbaar is binnen de interne en externe productiefaciliteiten, met de focus op verspaning (Draaien/Frezen/Vonken). Je bent verantwoordelijk dat de producten die worden gemaakt passen binnen de interne processen en fungeert als de poortwachter van het "Stage gate model."

Key responsibilities
Actieve deelname aan het ontwerpproces van nieuwe producten.
Feedback geven over haalbaarheid binnen interne en externe productiefaciliteiten.
Zorgen dat producten voldoen aan interne processen.
Fungeren als poortwachter van het "Stage gate model" in het productieproces.
Profile
HBO, BSc or BEng diploma in Verspaning, Werktuigbouwkunde of Mechatronica.
Kent alle ins en outs van de verspaning.
Bekend met CAD/CAM software – waarbij voorkeur naar Siemens NX.
Skills om de technische tekening te vertalen naar wat mogelijk is in productie.
Praktische manier van denken en hands-on mentaliteit.
Goede communicatie vaardigheden in zowel Nederlands als Engels
Affiniteit met het werken in de metaal
