Manager, Specialized Systems EngineeringLocation: Spain
Objective:
In this key role, you will manage, direct and drive a team of Specialized Systems Engineers assigned to your region. Create and implement strategic plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in Major accounts and leverage these relationships. Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.
Responsibilities: Manage and motivate a team of Specialized System Engineers focused on SecOps, SASE, LanEdge, OT and Cloud, to support BDM, SE and Account Team.Work with BDM Manager to define per vertical strategy and align resources to plan.Create tools, processes, and materials to create new pipeline on all verticals.Compare competitive solutions with ours and work on a positioning communication.Address proactively future market demands and high potential growth engines.Understand the key challenges of our clients and address them.Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.Work closely together with the Systems Engineers, BDMs and Account Managers in order to maximize the primary business focus and serves as team leader responsible for the quality and success of Technical resources.Develop relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and partners.Travel within assigned territory is required.Required Skills: 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineering manager.Deep knowledge of industry cyber security market trends, e.g. Mesh, SASE, ZTNA.Knowledge how to map cyber security solutions to customers' business requirements.A good combination of management, technical and business skills.Strong presentation skills to C-Level & individual contributors.Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Spanish and English.Good network to Enterprise C-level contacts in the region.A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move complex projects through the selling cycle.Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry, MBA preferred.
