You will be a project team member and, on some occasions, assume responsibility for managing some of our digitalization and automation projects to deliver on time, budget, and projected performance.ResponsibilitiesLead and/or execute digitalization initiatives to enhance Operational EfficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operational Excellence and Engineering) to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on digitalization.Report metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and track progress against established KPIs (Adoption Rate)Support site engineers to analyse data to drive insights and continuous improvements.Train operations workforce in using digital and automation systems.Support Operational Excellence function in driving the change management associated with the digital transformation.Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources for the Digitalization and automation CAPEX projects, and ensure that they are delivered on time, within budget, and delivering at the projected performance.Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners to ensure that the organization is getting the most value from its digital investments.Competencies (Reference: Sibelco (Leadership) Competency Model)Decision Making: Capacity to influence others to get results without authority or hierarchical linkOptimises Work ProcessesDrive ResultsCommunicates Effectively: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.CollaborationManage change and ambiguity: Availability to travel across more than 30 countries across the 5 continents.(Technical) CapabilitiesProblem Solving skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Negotiation skillsProject Management: Experience with project management, budgeting, and resource planning.Data management: Proficiency in automation technologies, including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and MES systems.Behavioural skills: Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
