As the EMEA Network Security Manager within our global network organization, you will be responsible for overseeing network security operations and initiatives within EMEA. Working closely with other GPT and regional BUs, as well with the global teams, you will lead efforts to implement and maintain network security measures, ensuring the protection of critical assets and compliance with global security standards. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and technical expertise in network security principles and technologies, including bot protection, load balancing, DNS services, and ingress points management.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute EMEA network security strategies, aligned with global security policies and standards.Lead a EMEA team of network security professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the effectiveness of security operations.Collaborate with global leaders and other regional teams to implement global security initiatives and standards across the organization.Conduct regular assessments of regional network security posture, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.Coordinate with regional IT teams to deploy and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, endpoint security solutions, bot protection mechanisms, and load balancing technologies.Partner with global teams to ensure that the DNS services are well managed and ensure their availability, reliability, and security within the region.Oversee the management of ingress points to the network, implementing appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access and malicious activity.Partner with GSO teams when needed to implement the tooling that allows them to monitor regional network traffic for signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity, investigating and responding to security incidents, as necessary.Partner with GSO and GETS Compliance teams to implement the initiatives and tools to ensure compliance with regional regulations and standards related to network security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and local data protection laws.Serve as a regional technical point of contact for security-related inquiries, audits, and investigations, liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends affecting the region, providing guidance and recommendations to mitigate risks.Promote the global integration of the teams and processes in the network security field to leverage the best processes targeting the best combination of global efficiency and local delivery.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, CISM) is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in network security roles, with a focus on managing security operations in a regional or multi-site environment.Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network architecture principles.Hands-on experience with firewall administration, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN technologies, endpoint security solutions, bot protection mechanisms, load balancing technologies, and DNS services.Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques, such as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and log analysis.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team of security professionals.Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
