Job Summary:About the Role & Team The Manager of Partner Growth will work within the team to execute and manage key relationships that drive growth, revenue, and transparency for the streaming platform. You will support the development of strategic partnerships with telecom providers, brands, content creators, and other third parties. This role will be responsible for day-to-day partner management and identifying new opportunities for collaboration, with the goal of delivering subscriber and revenue growth. In close collaboration with the Affiliates leadership, you will also work on setting a go-to-market strategy and commercial policies for new business opportunities and securing incremental partner opportunities within new categories.
This is a hands-on role, requiring excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. You will be onsite 4 days a week in our Madrid office, with one day working from home.
What You Will DoSupport Telecom Partnerships: Assist in handling existing telecom partnerships by completing bundle expansions, coordinating joint promotions, and ensuring that partnerships deliver on subscriber growth and retention goals. Track telecom partnership performance and assist in resolving operational issues as needed.Execution of Partnership Deals: Establish and complete agreements with new partners, ensuring that contract terms are met and initiatives are launched successfully. This includes coordinating with legal, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners.Brand Integrations & Placements: Run day-to-day interactions with brand partners, ensuring that in-content placements, sponsorships, and other integration deals are driven effectively. Guarantee that all brand partnerships align with content guidelines and improve the user experience.Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of partnerships, including subscriber growth, revenue contribution, and campaign results. Regularly share these insights and knowledge with the team to optimize partnership strategies.Partner Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for selected partners, handling all communications, addressing concerns, and discovering new avenues for partnership. Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure long-term success.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, content, legal, product, and finance to ensure that all partnerships are aligned with broader platform goals and effectively coordinated across departments.Customer Retention: Work closely with the team to guarantee customer retention through scalable activation and engagement initiatives.New Partnership Opportunities: Conduct research and market analysis to identify potential new partners in sectors that align with the streaming platform's business goals. Present opportunities to the Disney+ Lead and design the partnership development strategy.Required Qualifications & SkillsProficient in Spanish and English4-6 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the streaming, media, or telecom industry.Experience handling or supporting telecom partnerships and/or brand collaborations.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with experience in negotiating and managing partnerships.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and report on key performance metrics.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with marketing campaign management.The Walt Disney Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
