Our Technology team drives the evolution of our Technology, Engineering, Data, Product and User Experience functions. We shape the digital landscape for our customers, readers, and users.
About the Role:
The Data Management team focuses on data governance, data privacy and developing analytics solutions to help the organization make better data driven decisions. You will build, lead and develop a high performing data team encompassing Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Collection, B2C and B2B Analysts based in Barcelona.
You Will:
Establish strong working partnerships with each of the Data Management leaders to understand their goals and challenges.
Develop a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
Train, support and develop the team to maximize their potential.
Foster a supportive team culture ensuring a high level of employee engagement.
Collaborate with the Data Management Leadership team for smooth implementations of all Data Management led initiatives.
Lead assigned Data Management projects and initiatives.
Participate in the performance review process and support performance management processes.
You Have:
3-5 years previous experience managing a team.
Stakeholder management skills.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.
A passion for working with Data.
An openness to different views and appreciation of team diversity.
Fluency in English.
Preferred:
Knowledge and/or experience with data governance, data privacy, data automation and data analytics.
Knowledge of Excel, Python, HTML, SQL, Tableau and cloud based data platforms considered an asset.
Education to a degree level or relevant experience.
