About the Team:
Our Technology team drives the evolution of our Technology, Engineering, Data, Product, and User Experience functions.
About the Role:
The Data Management team focuses on data governance, data privacy, and developing analytics solutions to help the organization make better data-driven decisions.
You Will:
Establish strong working partnerships with each of the Data Management leaders to understand their goals and challenges and provide advice, support, and challenge thinking.
Develop a positive onboarding experience to ensure all new employees acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to become effective contributors to the Data Management team.
Train, support, and develop the team to maximize their potential through motivation, coaching, counseling, and delegation.
Foster a supportive team culture ensuring a high level of employee engagement.
Collaborate with the Data Management Leadership team to ensure smooth implementations of all Data Management led initiatives and stakeholder projects in alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Lead assigned Data Management projects and initiatives.
In partnership with the direct line managers, participate in the performance review process and support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
You Have:
3-5 years of previous experience managing a team.
Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skills.
A passion for working with Data.
An openness to different views and appreciation of team diversity.
Fluency in English.
Preferred:
Knowledge and/or experience with data governance, data privacy, data automation, and data analytics.
Knowledge of Excel, Python, HTML, SQL, Tableau (or other BI visualization tools) and cloud-based data platforms considered an asset.
Education to a degree level or relevant experience.
