Lucena City, Philippines Job Description Summary: As a Manager, Data Analytics at Global Payments, you will lead a team of data analysts, manage data strategy and execution, and ensure the delivery of high-quality analytical insights. You will play a crucial role in harnessing data insights from Workday and other data visualizations tools. You will collaborate closely with team members across the organization to design, develop and deliver meaningful reports and visualizations that create data-driven decision making.What Part Will You Play?Team Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.Set clear goals and expectations for the team.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budget.Lead data-driven discussions in management meetings, translating and communicating complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations.Data Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.Employ data management technologies and statistical software to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Technical Expertise:Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and engineering.Provide technical guidance and support to the team.Use data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Power Query to conduct in-depth analysis.Use Statistical Analysis such as SaS, SPSS or R.Stakeholder Collaboration:Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.Data Analysis and Reporting:Oversee the development of analytical models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to facilitate analysis and business decision-making.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.Minimum of 11 years of related and progressively responsible experience.10+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role highly preferred.Advanced knowledge of Workday.Experience with statistical tools such as SaS, SPSS or R.Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.Minimum 8+ years of work experience conducting quantitative people analyses or related experience.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in business, human resources management, data analytics, statistics, or closely related fields
