This role will enable you to work within the Corporate Strategy team in close alignment with the Chief Transformation & Growth Officer and CEO. You will also work in cross-functional teams to steer and shape Sandoz.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and drive cross-functional corporate strategy projects aiming to steer and shape Sandoz mid- and long-term growth and success, including:Overall Corporate or Business Unit Strategy shaping and refinement(Transformational) M&A; and high-profile Business DevelopmentCreation and definition of growth and efficiency opportunities incl. business case developmentBusiness, product, and project assessmentsMarket and competitive analysisDepending on project size, either lead the project together with the Head of Corporate Strategy Team or lead key workstreams autonomously, ensuring alignment with project objectives.Key activities include:Analyzing ambiguous problems, developing structured approaches, and implementing effective solutionsExtracting meaningful insights and actionable recommendations from complex dataManaging cross-functional (senior) stakeholders and owning overall project (workstream) governance and charterCommunicating effectively and with precision with all audiences, including Sandoz Leadership Team, to ensure messages resonateContinuously identify improvement possibilities and contribute to their implementation fostering your own entrepreneurship within SandozSupport ad-hoc challenges and sprints to accelerate operative business decisionsCreate key strategy documents and memos to facilitate, for example, the yearly Strategy Cycle with Sandoz Board of DirectorsWhat you need to bring to the role:Bachelor's degree mandatory, Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) preferred.3+ years of experience in Top Tier Consulting firms with relevant project experienceFluent English written and spokenPreferably full specialization into life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or generics throughout professional careerAbility to lead smaller projects and drive independent workstreams in the context of a broader, cross-functional teamDemonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations and persuade/influence organization of recommended pathExcellent analytical skills (problem structuring and problem solving), allowing to handle complex dataLeadership experience in matrix organization to manage without authorityExcellent executive communication and presentation skillsAgility in shifting between various projects and to be accountable for individual & teamComfort with high-paced environment and ambiguous, often-changing challengesProven self-starter with high standards of excellence and an innovative mindProficiency with MS Office (esp.
