Overview: IE University is looking for a Manager, Accreditations and Rankings to support the Accreditations and Rankings Department. In this role, you will work on projects both independently and collaboratively with the rest of the team members. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in understanding national and international accreditation, quality improvement, rankings, as well as building and managing data structures to support continuous improvement across these areas.
On an international level, IE Business School's programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the EFMD Quality Improvement System, and by the Agencia para la Calidad del Sistema Universitario de Castilla y León (ACSUCYL) on the national level. IE also holds positions in several international rankings, such as those run by the Financial Times, QS, and Times Higher Education.
Responsibilities: Your role as a Manager, Accreditations and Rankings will involve:
Manage and improve data-gathering systems and storage solutions for both accreditations and rankings, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement. Collect and analyze data from internal and external sources to support rankings and accreditation processes. Identify synergies between the criteria of different accrediting and ranking agencies, and design and implement data-driven solutions to capitalize on them. Consolidate and deepen existing working relationships within the whole institution, enhancing their excellence and value added for our unit. Promote compliance with internal policies in line with accreditor and ranking standards, encouraging the team to identify and address non-compliances. Produce and optimize data reports, documents, and presentations to support accreditation, quality, and ranking processes and initiatives. Ensure the timely submission of surveys and follow-up reports required to maintain accreditations and improve rankings. Collaborate on the analysis of ranking results, identifying key areas for improvement, and leading initiatives to address them. Lead and manage strategic and special projects related to quality improvement, including but not limited to surveys and other quality-related initiatives. Address academic and professional staff inquiries related to accreditations, quality, and rankings. Identify, lead, and monitor internal projects aimed at enhancing quality, improving data management systems, and supporting the institution's performance in rankings and accreditations. Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: A Master's degree from a top-ranked university is preferred. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the higher education sector. Strong project management capabilities. Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues. Attention to detail. Solid communication skills in English and Spanish. Ability to research, analyze and present material clearly and concisely. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and a high level of accountability and initiative. International professional experience and exposure to working in multicultural teams.
