Main Tasks and Responsibilities:MAIT management: planning, coordination, and supervision of all manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test activities, meeting cost targets, deadlines, and quality standards.Define, control, and execute all processes needed for the successful manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of space systems and small satellites.Process optimization: identify opportunities for improvement in the process and propose innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Team leadership: lead and motivate the MAIT team, creating a collaborative work environment with an orientation towards achievement.Coordinate with the program manager, product assurance manager, and satellite systems engineers to meet the product's expected performances in line with program planning, budget, and quality levels.Resources management: administration of human and material resources.Required Skills:University degree and/or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.10+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing in space-related projects.Desirable experience in assembly and integration of satellites up to 500 Kg mass.Experience in industrialization of new products.Proficient in MIL/ESCC/ECSS standards at satellite- and equipment level.Experience performing full satellite and subsystems qualification/acceptance testing.Experience in production automation is a plus.Experience implementing methods and techniques to optimize manufacturing processes.Proficient in English and Spanish.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; open-minded and ready to be challenged in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary, multinational environment.Strong interpersonal skills, including formal communication.The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.We're looking for a professional able to lead the complete spacecraft manufacturing cycle, with the capability to implement changes and face new challenges.
