The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel's facilities, ensuring all equipment and systems are in excellent working order. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing issues, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff. What do we offer? Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance and Repairs: Attend the daily reports that are reported in the Hotel: incidents, complaints, requests from customers and other departments. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. Carry out small repairs of carpentry, locksmithing, masonry, painting, etc., or any mechanical issues. 2. Facility Upkeep: Ensure all public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house areas are well-maintained. Conduct regular checks of fire safety systems, lighting, and emergency equipment. Maintain exterior areas, including landscaping, parking lots, and building exteriors. 3. Operational Support: Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Support in all activities carried out by external companies. Note the corrective actions carried out daily on the maintenance forms. Control consumption (electricity, gas, water, energy losses, water leaks, etc.) and monitor management, quality and environmental indicators. 4. Safety and Compliance: Follow all Health and Safety protocols and procedures. Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Technical Services Director. Requisitos : The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled in various trades, and committed to high standards of safety and quality. Skills Previous experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role. Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
