We maintain and optimise technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.
Key job responsibilities Design and own BBM long-term strategies, setting a vision, roles and responsibilities and clear goals for the team.
Recruit, build, inspire and motivate a new team that can work towards common goals.
Embed a collaborative and high-performance culture that is relentless at continuous improvement.
Embed Amazon people processes ensuring development and professional growth for all individuals.
Apply company performance management processes.
Serve as the main point of escalation for complex issues, facilitating cross-functional meetings, listening intensely, establishing the facts and making key decisions.
Deliver the implementation and maintenance of rigorous quality control standards for SOPs and training.
Implement meeting routines, KPIs, and mechanisms that will ensure work processes, systems, vendors, quality, productivity, training, and labour management are met.
Oversee the global budgets for maintenance and repair activities, optimising costs while ensuring high-quality service.
Collaborate with category procurement and stakeholders to ensure that productive contracts and SLAs are in place with 3P vendors.
Maintain strong vendor relationships.
Collaborate with other RME teams to ensure best practices are implemented for inventory management and reliability initiatives to optimise asset up-time across the network.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or completed an indentured Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial or production environment that handles a variety of complex business processes.
Proven experience in startups and managing technical teams.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Financial acumen and budget management experience.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Program/Project management of EVC electrification.
Experience within the EV charging industry.
Proficient in other spoken languages.
