ROLE & TEAM
The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within a company. They conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Key tasks include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as implementing safety protocols and procedures.
As a Maintenance Specialist, your core activities will include:
Ensure the proper execution of daily tasks and provide reports to supervisors.
Ensure proper maintenance of tools.
Conduct a monthly inventory of materials and provide reports to the supervisor.
Communicate every expense in detail and deliver records to finance.
Report to the operations specialist and coordinate daily interventions and tasks.
Work with the operations team to ensure all properties are in the best possible condition and problems are resolved quickly.
Perform preventive maintenance in all apartments every six months.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
Proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in apartments.
Ability to ensure proper maintenance and handling of tools.
Skills in conducting monthly inventory of materials and reporting accurately.
Capability to communicate detailed expenses and deliver records to finance.
Experience (up to 5 years) in coordinating daily interventions and tasks with the operations team.
Knowledge and execution of preventive maintenance practices every six months.
Valid driver's license.
Great English and Spanish fluency (B2-C1 level both written and spoken).
Being already in possession of a permit to work in Spain or the EU.

Strong organizational skills to manage tasks, inventory, and reports efficiently.
High attention to detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed correctly and thoroughly.
Ability to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Flexibility to handle a variety of maintenance tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Ideally, possession of a van and necessary tools for maintenance tasks.
Special qualifications and licenses would be considered an advantage.
