.Overview: Provides interface between Atlas Air and area maintenance providers regarding all aircraft and engine maintenance issues. Monitor reliability of area based fleet, implements corrective action in concert with Atlas Air Maintenance Control, Technical Support and vendors. Institutes vendor performance auditing procedures and monitors invoicing for correct billing. Ensures vendor compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Maintains liaison with Ground Operations and Flight Operations in order to ensure safe and dependable operations. Values and Behavioral Standards: To ensure the effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards, as stated in our company "Code of Conduct" policy, and to respond appropriately in the event of any known departure. Responsibilities: Providing direct oversight and control over the maintenance in the location. Ensures good communication with local airport authorities and companies with regards to leases or contracts the company may have place at his location. Arranges airport passes and Visas for third party cover and support to be coordinated with the Director of maintenance. Ensures the vendors at his location are trained and qualified in accordance with the GMM policies and procedures. Controls and coordinates resources in order to assure that mechanical discrepancies are troubleshot and corrected in a timely manner. Provides input and control of aircraft maintenance workload to assure chronic and scheduled discrepancies are corrected. Responsible for timely repairs of deferred maintenance items and responsible for the timely return of correct and accurate Aircraft log pages to HDQ and ensures that the company electronic maintenance system (TRAX) is updated in a timely manner. At his location maintains surveillance allocation and storage of the aircraft parts. Monitors Tooling requirements. Sets up work schedules in coordination with Maintenance control for planning purposes and routing of the aircraft with the minimum disruption to the aircraft schedule. Administers the support requirement with Materials, Planning, Quality Control and contract agencies. Monitors budget and approved invoices. Develops station maintenance budget. Could be allocated additional locations to manage remotely in addition to the normal location. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Regional Director. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience. Minimum three (3) years managerial experience. Must hold a current Full Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License. Retain the aircraft certificates on the aircraft operated by the company. Be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals. Good Outlook, Excel, and Word awareness skills. Special Demands: Must be able to gain entry and work visas to countries the company operates into. Work under the European Regulations
