The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.Key Responsibilities:Schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.Serve as the point of contact for maintenance requests and prioritize work orders.Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment, and supplies.Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.Ensure compliance with safety standards and assist in maintaining operational efficiency.Our Ideal Maintenance Coordinator candidate will have:Relevant Experience: Proven experience in maintenance coordination, preferably in a hotel, resort, or facility management environment.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of various maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage schedules, work orders, and maintenance requests efficiently.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot maintenance issues and develop effective solutions promptly.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and vendors effectively.Project Management: Ability to oversee maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to maintenance and building operations.Computer Skills: Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation and reporting.Customer Service Orientation: A focus on providing excellent service to both guests and staff, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
