Mainframe Oltp System Programmer

In Volkswagen Group Services are looking for a new team-mate to manage and support Mainframe Systems in relation to Online Transaction Processing, Database management and MQ software. These tasks include installation and upgrade, as well as configuration and monitoring of the current systems and detection/solution of problems.Working in a highly specialized team, assuming wide range of assigned responsibilities. Responsabilities: Ensure integrity and availability of the Systems by providing high level technical support. Software maintenance and migration to new versions. Installation and configuration of TP Systems and MQ. Coordinate and control the tasks of service providers. Analyze problems and technical inquiries from the IT teams, coach application developers in the use of software features. Assist in the requirements gathering and implementation of new products. Contact with IBM and ISVs regarding software orders, licenses and support at a technical level. Your Skills: OLTP products with deep kwnoledge. Advanced experience with IMS tools. Experience with database systems and Administration. Experience in Performance and Capacity analysis and z/OS tunning is a plus. Benefits for you: Possibility to work remotely.
