Here at CORUS we are looking for 2 Mainframes Developers to join our team in an international project. Location: Remote from Spain. Main Responsibilities: Analyze large volumes of mainframe files to understand their usage and perform numerical analysis using Excel. Conduct data analysis on the mainframe environment to identify storage cleanup opportunities. Develop and enhance jobs for file transfer between mainframe systems and X86 platforms. Perform basic DB2 table design to create mapping dictionaries between mainframe files and their corresponding cloud locations. Manage mainframe storage systems as required. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver analysis results and support ongoing improvements in file transfer and storage management. Document processes, results, and improvements in a clear and structured manner. Skills and Experience: 5 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, REXX/CLIST, File Transfer. Strong experience with MS Excel for numerical analysis and reporting. Basic skills in DB2 table design . Ability to analyze and process large volumes of data efficiently. Mainframe storage management (DASD/Tape) knowledge is valued. Fluent written and spoken English (Level C1).
