As a turner/milling machine operator, you will operate conventional machine tools to manufacture and modify precision parts in the oil and gas sector. This includes all types of mechanical seal parts, centrifugal pumps and certain valve components. You may also manufacture and modify parts to repair machine tools, workshop needs or perform maintenance on industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, design and machining procedures. Your role: Machine or equipment operation: operate conventional equipment and machines. Perform routine tasks. Operations management: perform operational tasks following established processes. Equipment maintenance and repair: assist in maintaining and repairing equipment by making preparations and providing assistance.
