Join our team to navigate this challenge together In this case, we are looking for a Machining Operator for a cutting-edge scientific project that aims to demonstrate the feasibility of nuclear fusion power generation for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). Location: Santander. Work Modality: in Site Responsibilities: Carrying out machining work using machines, tools designed for different processes and with robots. Reading and interpretation of positioning plans for the preparation of the machine to be used for carrying out the machining of the parts. Detection and communication of errors or inconsistencies in the design. Preparation of the workstation, the machine to be used, the tools, the partsetc Use of the safety means necessary to carry out the machining equipment. Receipt of instructions and part preparation of the material to be machined: positioning, clamping, centering and leveling. Reading and interpretation of specifications relating to the machining work . Verification, modification and production of CNC programs using RobotDK and/or Fusion 360. Modification of cutting parameters depending on the type of machining, materials, tolerances, etc. Suggest modifying tools, sequences and speed parameters to optimize machining times. Support the dimensional checks necessary for the correct completion of the final machining. Making manual adjustments if necessary. Cleaning the work area and work tools. Requirements: Higher or medium level professional training in machining tools. 3 to 10 years of experience in the requested position. Plan reading skills. Knowledge of overall mechanics. Use of measuring tools. Knowledge of CNC and CAM. A multidisciplinary profile will be valued (welder boilermaker-fitter machinist) or whether the candidate is open to training in these profiles . Languages:Advanced English or French, the person must be able to communicate fluently, Spanish is a plus. Procedure reading efficiency. Qualifications : Crane operator. Working at height, (Harness). Work in confined spaces. Working with forklifts. Work with lifting platforms. Knowledge of Fusion 360 ,RoboDK ,Pack Office (Word and excel). Ability to work in a team.
