M&A; SPECIALISTCountry/Region: ESCity: MadridCompany: EDP RENOVÁVEIS S.A.MISSIONProvides information and supporting analyses for the execution of organic investments and merger & acquisition (M&A; ) processes. Facilitatescommunication with EDPR and EDP and generates information for decision-making.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESAnalyzes Greenfield Projects from economic risk and strategic perspectives.Performs valuations and creates investment memorandums.Provides summaries of analyses and other information to the Investment Analysis Manager and the Executive Committee of EDPR NA.Supports the analysis and execution of M&A; transactions in targeted countries and those in which EDPR currently has a presence.Supports due diligence processes.Ensures that all investments analyzed are evaluated using objective and homogeneous criteria and in accordance with the investment approval procedures of EDPR.Assists with strategic analysis projects.Assists the Investment Analysis Manager with all tasks and projects as needed.Additional duties as required.REQUIRED PROFILEACADEMIC LEVEL: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 1 - 2 years in finance, preferably as it pertains to the energy industry.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Thorough knowledge of the utility/energy industry and of valuation and accounting processes; proficient knowledge ofMicrosoft Office software.LANGUAGES: English, Spanish, Portuguese (plus).SKILLS / COMPETENCES:Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.Statistical and analytical skills.Problem-solving ability.Ability to be self-motivated.Interpersonal skills.Leadership skills.Willingness and ability to travel as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
