You'll work closely with senior leadership, including our CEO and Global Directors, gaining invaluable exposure and experience.In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our M&A activities, supporting the entire lifecycle of transactions – from proactive origination and due diligence to execution and post-merger integration. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging your financial acumen, project management skills, and strategic thinking to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities that align with our vision.AccountabilitiesSupport proactive origination of M&A targets by identifying and screening M&A opportunities with global scope.Support the development and implementation of the Group M&A strategy.Lead selected streams or phases of M&A transactions and overall assessment of potential opportunities (e.g. attractiveness, strategic fit, portfolio review, valuation, due diligence, key issues having a material impact on price and structuring) with the proactive and timely involvement of all relevant company stakeholders and functions.Develop robust business cases and financial models as well as assess the value creation potential of acquisition, divestiture, alliance proposals.Draft presentations and reporting documents to update the Executive Team on the progress of transactions.Day-to-day management of due diligence process.Work with a project team consisting of 10-100 individuals plus external advisers, manage selected project streams or phases.Play key role as center point of Project Leaders and Associates as well as connecting with the rest of the Group.Participate in initial planning of post-merger integration.Reflect due diligence findings in business cases and valuation as well as final contracts negotiated.Demonstrate good business judgment with an ability to challenge plans and assumptions and take an independent stance when necessary.Develop and coach team resources in the context of the transaction projects.Ensure team adherence to regulations, corporate governance, and corporate policies (including filing, handover); ensure implementation of adequate checks and balances during the deal execution process.Ensure knowledge sharing and transfer across the team and the firm.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are highly people-focused – we look for professionals who are engaged, collaborative and excellent in execution. You will be a great fit if you have:Between 2 and 4 years of experience in M&A execution.
