What you'll be doing: PGI's corporate pillar is dedicated to delivering top-tier solutions and services that deliver business resilience for our clients.
Due to this, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our corporate market efforts.
This is a key role that will shape and drive our sales strategy, expand our market presence, build key client relationships, and contribute to our overall mission: Develop and execute a robust business development strategy tailored to the corporate market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects within the corporate sector.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting trust relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
Lead the sales process from prospecting through to closing, ensuring that sales targets and objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and subject matter experts on product development and account delivery teams to ensure alignment and drive business success.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and decisions.
Easily liaise with clients at varying levels to establish their problems and challenges, reassuring and guiding them as they embark on the client journey.
Identify routes to success, working with technical experts, solutions architects, and project teams to maximize PGI's offer and value to the client.
On day one you will bring: Minimum of 5 years of business development experience within the corporate market, ideally with expertise in providing information security or payments compliance services.
Proven success in building and growing sales in the corporate sector, with a strong network of contacts.
Deep understanding of corporate sales processes, market trends, and key players.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Firm believer in providing clients with an exceptional experience, signposting client pain points and business needs with the right blend of expertise and skillset.
Ability to negotiate multi-year contracts to solidify and close annual accrued revenue opportunities.
Knowledge of how to sell PGI's value, establish approaches at networking events, persist when accounts' teams change, and get PGI's clients recommending PGI to theirs.
Enabling clients to trust in PGI's expertise, in the service being delivered and that their important business need is our priority, that PGI has their back.
Ability to navigate how PGI can support a client and reduce the pain points they have by exposing PGI's blend of expertise and service line offering to identify multiple types of revenue opportunities.
