With over 5,300 buildings owned around the world, the types of renewable projects you will help build will be innovative, meaningful and exciting.You will report to the Director of Engineering and Execution. As our regional renewable construction expert, you will oversee, coordinate and manage the vendors we work with who are responsible to build a portfolio of projects for Prologis.You will represent Prologis to ensure the work is consistent with our standards and drives value for our customers. This role requires experience building energy projects and knowledge or expertise in electrical, structural, and civil work.Responsibilities:Coordinate all construction related deliverables from project introduction through the construction and commissioning including working with the Europe Energy Team, local internal real estate teams (Spain and France), customers and vendors to ensure accuracy, completeness, and that all requirements of the project are met.Lead the Project, including consultants and contractors to develop the works, within Prologis specifications, Budget and Schedules.Prepare or assist in the preparation of reporting that captures major project milestones, risks, notes and other key project information for internal and external stakeholders.Oversee contractors and vendors to confirm that the budget, scope, schedule, grid connection, permits, customer requirements quality and safety standards have been met throughout project execution.Proactively work to mitigate risks including; critical path management, determining when to secure materials, tracking utility and jurisdiction timelines and requirements, coordinating logistics obstacles, etc.Manage construction related contracting, deliverables, and change order reviews, from project introduction through construction and commissioning.Research design and construction specifications, innovations and value engineering opportunities and work with the technical solution architect, to implement to enhance and futureproof Prologis' buildings without compromising functionality or life cycle costs.Interface and develop strong working relationships with various regional internal and external partners (incl. vendors) to assure risk factors have been identified and mitigated.Ensure customer satisfaction by ensuring proper coordination and communication takes place.Partner with local sales leads on energy proposals as needed to assist with construction / execution related questions including staging, safety, budget, schedule, etc.Review and manage technical specifications, designs, scopes of work, commissioning reports and other project related documents.Ensure quality and safety standards are being followed.Analyze and review designs and proposals to match Prologis standards be compliant with local regulations and find the best solution.Review/approve design drawings, invoicing, turnover documents, and other deliverables required for budget management and hand-off to the asset team.Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing construction projects preferably for a solar, storage, and/or EV charging developer.Min. BSc in Engineering preferable electrical, mechanical or civil.Experience in managing complex multi-site portfolios, due diligence, contract negotiation, and international markets in the renewable energy industry.Fluent English, Spanish and French communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong negotiation/mediation skills.Proven track record of project execution/construction success in the renewable energy industry.Proven experience with solar and storage design / build contracts including EPC, PPA, O&M, etc.Project Management certification such as PMI, IPMA or similar is a plus.Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
