We are currently recruiting a Junior Engineer with experience in bridges and/or structures design, to join our busy and expanding experienced team.
The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects.
Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors.
Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years throughout the USA, Australia, Canada, and the Middle East.
You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Europe Global Delivery Center (Poland/Spain).
Responsibilities Work autonomously on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC within established procedures and practices related to bridges and structures. Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Perform structural engineering work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision. Perform a self-check of work products prior to submitting to others and participate in quality control reviews of documentation originated by equally or less experienced staff. Prepare project deliverables that are reviewed by senior team members. Provide guidance to entry level engineers. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Experience working on bridges and/or structures designs (+2 years). Experience with some of the main international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.
). Skilled in engineering calculation software for bridge and structures (preferable Midas Civil, but others such as CSiBridge, SAP2000, etc.
are well considered). Experience working in the North America region will be considered favorably. Fluent in English (oral and written). Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
