Responsibilities CGTECH Iberica is looking for a Sales Engineer to be part of our Sales Team located in the Basque Country. The Sales Engineer drives CGTech business growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and implementing sales strategy. In the role, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
Perform sales activities, establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and/or prospective customers to maintain renewal business and generate new business for the assigned geographic area, set of named accounts to achieve or exceed revenue objectives;
Develop strong customer relationships at all levels (plant engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, and senior management);
Prepare and deliver highly-tailored product demonstrations that show a deep understanding of the customer's challenges and how CGTech is the solutions provider;
Demonstrate technical expertise and answer related questions to the product, and how it fits into the prospect's existing ecosystem;
Create and conduct sales presentations to match customers' required capabilities to achieve their positive business outcomes;
Remain knowledgeable and keep abreast of the company's new and existing products/services to facilitate sales efforts;
Research sources for developing current and prospective customers to determine their potential;
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers;
Create and maintain account plans for existing customers highlighting profile, share, and value opportunities;
Maintain accurate sales data and reports within Salesforce (CRM);
Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues;
Present and leverage key metrics to leadership, key stakeholders, and customers to determine potential;
Leverage trade shows and conventions; schedule training and seminars to enhance new business opportunities within current and prospective customer base;
Alert clients to new or improved products/services and relay client feedback to product development staff;
Prepare quotes and customer implementation plans;
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and competitive position of the company;
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; 2-4 years of proven experience in sales.
