We will be hiring 2 people for the Design Director position and responsibilities for these positions will be as listed below:As a Design Director at Arcadia, you will be responsible for directing art consultants and planning meetings with the Chief Design Officer for the design process. Arcadia offers a variety of choices for directors related to their studies and work experiences.Arcadia Design Directors are provided with one of two sub-areas to work on:Publication and Development : Allocation of series to be designed and providing training, guiding to art consultants and designers to show them publication standards of Arcadia and bringing new design ideas, and unique perspectives that they can discover under your supervision.Visual Arts : Directing consultants on their approach to consulting with designers for their book cover design projects and approval of first drafts for the finalized design and publication.Working under the supervision of the, from top to bottom, SCO, CDO and in collaboration with the Chief Academic Advisor,you will be expected to consult a minimum 5 maximum of 10 Art Consultants allocated to you and you will be leading members and delivering reports about their activities and approved designs for the final approval of executives of the department within your detailed feedback report.
