Descripción completa del empleo: The main objective of this newly created position is to provide support to the corporate tax team in the management of the Global Prosegur international tax affairs. The candidate will be in Corporate Structure in the Global Tax, Transfer Pricing, Grants & Incentives team. This is a high-profile and strategic position who will work with all senior stakeholders of the existing business units and corporate areas.
The main mission is to handle all tax matters pertaining to the Prosegur footprint with assistance of subject matter expert colleagues and improve process and control framework, developing best in class regional and market teams.
Responsibilities: International tax duties: The candidate will handle various tax matters related to the Prosegur Group, such as providing tax advice, managing tax audits and litigation, reviewing tax clauses, supporting M&A activities, and optimizing the effective tax rate.Tax and financial incentives: The candidate will identify and pursue opportunities to obtain tax and financial incentives from various jurisdictions, such as R&D, innovation, investment, and hiring. The candidate will also design and implement processes to maximize the value of the incentives and negotiate with the relevant authorities.Local and international VAT: The candidate will advise and support the accounting department and the business units on the technical aspects of VAT in Spain and other countries where Prosegur operates. This includes responding to the tax authorities and dealing with day-to-day issues.Mergers and acquisitions: The candidate will support the M&A team in the tax due diligence, tax structuring, modelling, and review of transactional documents for the deals involving Prosegur. The candidate will also assist in divestments and reorganizations projects.Transfer pricing: The candidate will have knowledge and exposure to transfer pricing and will work closely with the transfer pricing department to implement the Pilar II compliance policy.What we expect from you? Education: University Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Law.Double degree in Business Administration/Economics and Law is a plus.Master's in taxation is a plus.Relevant work experience: At least 10 years of exposure to an international tax department in a multinational environment or big four/relevant law firm.Relevant exposure to US taxation is a plus.Experience in Research & Development (R&D) and financial incentives is a plus.Appropriate exposure to Finance/Tax during degree or master.Skills: Language Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English is recommended, with additional languages as a plus.International Tax Knowledge and Accounting acumen.Time and Project Management.
